Saadi’s Mausoleum
Saadi’s mausoleum, known as Saadieh, is the place of residence and burial of Saadi, the prominent Persian poet. This mausoleum is located at the end of Bostan Street, next to the delightful garden, in the foothills in the northeast of Shiraz. Around the tomb, there are many graves of religious dignitaries who, according to their will, have been buried there. One of the most important ones is Shurideh Shirazi, whose mausoleum is connected to Saadi’s mausoleum by a portico.
The mausoleum of Sheikh Muslih al-Din, also known as Saadi Shirazi, was registered on November 20, 1353, in the National Heritage Society.
