Sistan and Baluchestan Province

Sistan and Baluchestan Province is located in southeastern Iran and, after Kerman, is the second largest province in the country. The provincial capital is the city of Zahedan. This province has a hot and dry climate, with winds that influence the weather for 120 days of the year. The highest peak in this province is Mount Taftan, which is part of the eastern mountain range of Iran. The people of this province are of Aryan descent and speak Persian with Baluchi and Kermani dialects.
