The Pink Rocky Beach of Chabahar

The Pink Rocky Beach of Chabahar, also known as “Darya Bozorg Beach” (Great Sea Beach), is truly a slice of paradise that leaves visitors in awe. This rocky beach, adorned with small green mosses, is situated along the coast of the Oman Sea. The proximity of Darya Bozorg Beach to the Oman Sea causes the waves to crash against the rocky cliffs, creating spectacular sprays of water. Witnessing this scene even once leaves an indelible impression. The sight of water colliding with the rocks, the silver-blue sea, the unparalleled tranquility, and the movements of crabs and small turtles make this beach one of the most remarkable attractions in Chabahar.
Other notable attractions in the province include Chabahar, Iran’s only oceanic port, the Portuguese Castle, Tis Castle, Bampur Castle, Kuh-e Khwaja (Mount Khwaja), and the Mud Volcanoes of Chabahar. Local delicacies of the province include Kashk-e Zard, Oujizak of Zabol, and Sistani Abgoosht.
Sistan and Baluchestan is one of the largest fishery centers, and fish and shrimp are popular souvenirs. Other traditional handicrafts from the province include needlework, coin embroidery, mirror embroidery, and pottery.
